It has been 2012 since The All American Rejects released an album! Finally this year, we'll get their first new album in 13 years!
The band confirmed the news on socials over the weekend also teasing a brand new single called "Sandbox" will be out next month (April 24th). The full album's release date is yet to be confirmed, as the band had some management issues and pushed back the release of the new song (when they were teasing it back in November)
A little bit of the backstory:
They were set to headline 2024's When We Were Young Fest, but backed out last minute due to "management changes", they also teased that a new song would be released back in September, but instead revealed it to be a cover of Harvey Danger's 'Flagpole Sitta', which left bands confused. Between the new song not coming out, and the festival cancellation, it seems the band has been trying to fix their management situation, so that's why everything changed and all their new stuff got pushed back.
THIS WEEKEND (Saturday Night), The All American Rejects will be in town to play Xcite Center at Parx! Who knows, maybe they'll give us a live debut of a new song or two? Hmm..we'll see!
