Portugal. The Man is teaming up with Unknown Mortal Orchestra for a new song., "Summer of Love." Portugal.The Man's frontman John Gourley says when they originally sat down to write the track they intended to make a "heavy song with a big riff," but the vocals "came out chill" because he was still recovering from jaw problems. "Summer of Luv" appears on Portugal. The Man's upcoming album "chris Black Changed My Life," which drops on June 23rd. The new track follows previous singles "Dummy", "Champ", and "Thunderdome W.T.A"....

“As we were working on the song, it just felt like it needed another voice, Ruban from Unknown Mortal Orchestra also lives in Portland and is one of our favorite artists, he just fit perfectly in.”
