If you love 80's nostalgia, ABC’s The Goldbergs is your show! On this Wednesday nights episode, the show pays tribute to The Clash in an all-new episode called “The Fake Out”. And if you're missing concerts like me, this is the right episode for yew!
The episode finds Barry Goldberg trying to score tickets to see the Clash in concert all to impress Erica’s friend Ren. He fails, in usual Barry style, but the episode ends with the pair at a Clash concert.
According to The Music Universe:
“Since the Clash was a big part of the 80's and a big part of my life growing up in the 80s, it was important for us to give them a shout out and pay tribute to them in this episode,” said executive producer Adam F. Goldberg who has based the show off of his life growing up in the Philly suburbs in the 80's . Goldberg often takes “totally surreal” moments of his life and incorporates them into his show which is based on his life of growing up in the Philly burbs in the 80's!
The episode airs this Wednesday night at 8pm on ABC!
