M.I.A. has returned with a cryptic new post that appears to be all about a new project! And it looks like new music is coming in just a few days on 1/31!
Her last studio album was 2016's 'AIM' and her last major work was the 2018 documentary Matangi / Maya / M.I.A..to which the musicain said after the film’s release that she was no longer “motivated” to release new music, blaming censorship from the music industry.
Her new post features two videos . One has a snippet of some sort of new music, while the other video features her silently mouthing something. Check 'em out below!
