Not sure if you've seen the ABC-TV hit comedy Schooled (Wednesdays at 8:30 pm). But it's actually based on Penn Charter in Philly and there are Philly shout outs allll the time! There are some major musical shout outs on the show as well!
In this week’s episode the show gives a shout out to Pearl Jam when teacher Lainey Lewis (A.J. Michalka) dons a Pearl Jam concert T-shirt. Also, Coach Mellor, in an attempt to emotional connect with his girlfriend learns about the magic of the Indigo Girls’ “Closer to Fine.”
