Mumford And Sons returned to Philly last week to play a very sold out Radio1045 show at The Wells Fargo Center AND before that they were kind enough to come to the radio station for a Studio Session in our AT&T Thanks Sound Studio.
Before you go any further, please let me remind you... if you haven't already listened to Mumford & Sons new album "Delta", please make it a point to stop what you're doing and listen from start to finish. Never have my ears heard an album that flows so beautifully; perfectly. Each song ties in seamlessly to the one before and it was an absolute honor to speak with the band about such a masterpiece.
We discussed Paul Epworth's stunning studio (Church Studios) built inside a church (which used to be the Eurythmic's studio), and how Mumford & Sons are planning on working with Paul Epworth again for the next album. They are also already writing album #5; they're going to go in and out of studios whilst touring so they can stay in motion and keep on top of writing, and they even stopped by a studio in Auckland to record, they're hoping to find local studios on the road during this tour to continue that. Finally we learned Jason Mamoa is a God among men (as if we already didn't know that), and the song "Darkness Visible" will be renamed "Peyote In The Woods" after further discussion ;).
