We all know Jack White loves baseball. He says watching the game gives him an "inner-peace". He was shown a bunch of times on TV enjoying last night's Game 1 of the World Series.
He also has a stake in the game, because he’s actually a co-owner of a bat company, along with Sox second baseman Ian Kinsler (who used to be on the Detroit Tigers). He and Kinsler are partners and co-investors in WARSTIC, an independent sporting good company that designs wood and metal bats, gears and swag for baseball and softball players.
Ironically, Los Angeles Dodgers Star Matt Kemp is one of the faces of the company.
According to TheBlast.com
Last night, during Game 1, the Dodgers lost , Kemp showed Warstic and White some love by hitting a solo home run during his first at-bat. Not a bad advertisement to have the face of your company knock a dinger out of the park with your bat!
