Well this was a huge surprise.
Paul McCartney was the headliner for Glastonbury on Saturday and he stunned not only the crowd there but the world when he brought out Dave Grohl as a special guest.
This is the first time Dave has been seen publicly since the untimely death of Foo Fighters drummer Taylor Hawkins earlier this year.
Paul, and the Beatles, are a major inspiration of Dave's musical life, so seeing him with Sir Paul and performing certainly was nice to see.
They played the Beatles classic "I Saw Her Standing There" as well as the Wings classic "Band on the Run". Bruce Springsteen also made an appearance.
The last time they played together was at the 2021 Rock & Roll Hall of Fame induction ceremony when the Foo Fighters got inducted by McCartney and then jammed out to the Beatles "Get Back" to close out the show.
