Legendary Rockers' Counterfeit Guitars Seized At Washington Dulles Airport

Three dozen vintage electric and acoustic guitars, signed and played by the legends of rock'n'roll - that would be quite a sight to behold. Too bad they're fake.

Customs officers at Dulles International Airport seized a collection of 36 counterfeit guitars shipped to the U.S. from China.

The instruments purportedly belonged to famous musicians like Jimmy Page, Ace Frehley, and Slash - a trove worth over $150,000 if they were real.

One officer said the counterfeit guitars would have been sold by "unscrupulous vendors" that "line their pockets by preying on unsuspecting customers".

Ever shell out big money for something that turned out to be fake? If you could own any famous guitar from rock history, what would it be?
