Foo Fighters bring back classic tour shirt to raise money for music venues

Lots of venues all over the world are struggling due to the COVID-19 pandemic and Dave Grohl and the Foo Fighters are here to help out.

As this year marked the 25th anniversary of their first album and first tour (they were supposed to recreate that tour too), they have brought out of retirement a classic throwback tour shirt!

KERRANG reports:

The band are releasing the original merch designs from their 1995 tour for theUK’s#SaveOurVenuescampaign, as well as the National Independent Venue Association’s#SaveOurStagesin the U.S.

All proceeds from what is known as the ‘Roswell Alien Design’ T-shirts will go to the country’s respective fundraising efforts – so you can help support venues while also pretending like you were lucky enough to either be at Arcata, California’s Jambalaya Club on February 23 a quarter of a century ago, or at London’s King’s College on June 3, 1995. (Hey, nobody needs to know these are re-released shirts, alright?)
