The time has come take to action with Movember for men’s health! In the U.S, men die on average five years earlier than women, and for largely preventable reasons. 1 in 9 men will be diagnosed with prostate cancer in their lifetime. Testicular cancer is the most commonly diagnosed cancer in young men. And 3 out of 4 suicides are men.

Each year during the month of November, thousands of men around the world grow a mustache for 30 days to raise awareness and funds to support men’s health. Radio 104.5 is joining the effort by asking you, our loyal listeners, to donate to the Radio 104.5 team and help us raise money for the Movember Foundation!

Starting November 11th at 12pm, we are asking you to make a minimum donation of $75.00 to the Radio 104.5 Movember Team with 100% of the proceeds benefitting the Movember Foundation! Your minimum donation of $75.00 will score you an EXCLUSIVE invite to the Radio 104.5 Movember Gala, taking place Wednesday, December 4th inside the XCite Center at Parx Casino, featuring a specoal 45 minute acoustic set by Vampire Weekend, and music by DJ Reed Streets and Electric Violinist Brian Fitzy! While the minimum donation amount to secure an invite to the Movember Gala is $75.00, we will gladly accept donations above that minimum amount – it’s for a good cause, after all! Maximum two (2) invites per person

While you can donate any day of the week, Radio 104.5 will stop accepting donations for invites once we reach capacity for the gala.

Starting November 11th at 12noon, all eligible donors for the Movember Gala will receive correspondence within a week of donating with information regarding the Movember Gala. In the case that you feel that you have not received correspondence within a week, please email here and someone will follow up with you as soon as possible. Please note, one invite equates to one ticket. If you are looking for a pair of tickets, you will need to donate $150.00. Maximum of one pair/2 invites per person.

**PLEASE NOTE, WE RESERVE THE RIGHT TO CHANGE THE METHOD OF RAISING FUNDS IN ORDER TO ALLOW MORE OPPORTUNITIES TO ATTEND THE MOVEMBER GALA While the gala is not a black tie event, dresses and suits are welcome.
