Meet Pesho the cat! She's a 10 year old black & white domestic shorthair kitty, weighs 14 pounds, and is looking for a quiet adult-only home for her forever home. She's independent and chill, loves treats, playing with yarn, and scratches on the head...along with naps. A cat after my own heart!
Pesho is currently in a foster home and this is how her foster mom describes Pesho and living with her:
Pesho is absolutely packed with personality! I wake up in the mornings now to little “mrrps” from a hungry lump sitting in the doorway.
Pesho likes things on her own terms. She’ll push her head into your hand, begging for pets, then swat your hand away after she’s had her fill. She’s a cat and acts like it in every situation. She’ll pick and choose when to interact with you, though you can influence that decision quite easily with treats or yarn. I wouldn’t bother buying additional toys for her, of all my toys she only really goes nuts for yarn.
The cutest thing is how vocal she is. She’ll be lounging on the couch and as she’s stretching she’ll let out these satisfied little chirps that melt your heart. I have her on scheduled meals rather than free feeding, and after her meals she’ll sit accusingly next to the empty bowl until I look her way, then chirp, meow and purr her way into just a little bit more.
