Listen to The Offspring cover Joe Exotic's "Here Kitty Kitty"

This is certainly a different sound for The Offspring...

Dexter, Noodles and Pete have been using their time in quarantine productively, covering the Joe Exotic/Tiger King's song "Here Kitty Kitty," and it's NOT the pop-punk sound you'd expect. In fact, if you played it for me and hadn't told me it was The Offspring, I NEVER would have guessed it to be them.

The band shared the cover and video (where Noodles and Dexter were the required 6 feet apart, as marked by a big ruler on the ground) along with this message to fans:

Hey, Guys! Like many of you, we are going a little stir crazy these days and we wanted to do something fun to put a smile on our faces, and hopefully on some of yours too. This song, Here Kitty Kitty, was originally by the Clinton Johnson band, and *not* by anyone in that recent documentary we all got caught up in. The Offspring wives were group texting recently, and while they all agreed that they truly love their husbands, there are times when they’ve absolutely felt like feeding us to the tigers. In that spirit, we hope you enjoy this random song & video.
