When Iggy Pop asks if you want to be involved in a project, you just say yes. It's one of those unwritten rules of the universe. I'm not surprised at all to see that everybody who is anybody from the punk world will be involved in his just new announced TV documentary series about punk. Keeping it simple, it will be called Punk.
It will reportedly be a four-part series and is set to debut on Epix (furiously flipping through my tv guide to make sure I have Epix) on March 11th.
Here's some of the names that are confirmed to be part of the show: John Lydon of The Sex Pistols, Marky Ramone, Wayne Kramer, Jello Biafra of The Dead Kennedys, Debbie Harry, with appearances by Dave Grohl & Flea.
Along with Iggy, John Varvatos will also act in the role of Executive Producer.
BRING IT!
