While we await word on The Black Album (which initially was supposed to come out back in June), here's a brand new song from Weezer: "California Snow."
It's part of the soundtrack of the movie "Spell." According to IMDB the movie takes on this plot "After the death of his fiancée, an American illustrator runs out of medication while wandering the isolated Icelandic countryside - unsure if his compulsions are related to his disorder or if he's being forced to unlock ancient secrets."
Patrick Stump (Fall Out Boy) is responsible for the film's score, and it's the directorial debut (in the film realm) for Brendan Walter, who's directed numerous Fall Out Boy and Weezer videos.
I say it's probably worth a watch for the music alone. The film debuts this weekend at the LA Film Festival.
