Yesterday (Thursday, December 14th) Queens of the Stone Age was supposed to be the musical guest on Ellen....except that when the show aired, and they weren't on it. Their appearance was quietly cancelled. I haven't seen any official statements from Ellen or from the band, but it's likely a safe assumption it has something to do with the incident over the weekend where Josh Homme kicked a photographer in the head during a performance.
One thing I know for sure, this whole situation continues to really bum me out. Why Josh, why?
