Whoa! Did NOT see this coming. Bastille is covering Green Day's "Basket Case" for the soundtrack for Amazon's new series The Tick...and it's totally been Dan Smith-ified...with a string section, a horn section and his signature swoon-worthy accent. Looks like we'll get the full version tomorrow, but check out a good little preview of what to expect, below.
Wonder if there'll be any other cool surprises on the soundtrack?
I have a hunch that this the surprise new cover Johnny was teasing us about earlier...guess we'll find out tomorrow morning when he goes Under The Covers around 7:40am.
