They say a picture's worth a thousand words - and I couldn't agree more. Here's some of the very BEST things I saw at Night #1 of the 10th Birthday Celebration at BB&T Pavilion on Saturday.
Up first - BEST GAME FACE: Bastille Dan
Bastille had beer backstage with fans and played a SERIOUS game of corn hole - check out that concentration. He was in it to win it.
BEST SINGIN' IN THE RAIN: The Unlikely Candidates
MAJOR points for The Unlikely Candidates, the only band that ended up getting out there on The Mall Chevrolet New Music Discovery Stage in the rain. PROPS!
BEST DRESSED: The Reverend Mike Jones
Sure, Luke Steele from Empire of The Sun was dressed to the nines, but nobody does festive quite like our very own Mike Jones.
BEST BLUE STEEL: Kings of Leon. Doing Zoolander proud with this group pose backstage.
Here's more shots from their time hanging backstage with listeners.
BEST CUPCAKE FACE: Johnny. What's a birthday party without serious enjoyment of baked goods?
