Here's the piece of the puzzle we've really been waiting for from The National: MUSIC.
Yesterday, we got word the new album from The National, "Sleep Well Beast" will be released on September 8th. Earlier this week they shared little tidbits/teasers of music, but here's the real thing - the first single from the forthcoming album, called "The System Only Dreams in Total Darkness." They also announced a huge world tour, that doesn't have very many U.S. dates on it, BUT it does included Philly: on December 4th @ Verizon Hall.
