When "guerrilla" goes too far....
Yes, we're excited about the new Gorillaz album "Humanz" and their upcoming show at Festival Pier....BUT you can't just go around spray painting anything and everything in sight. Especially not The Vietnam Veterans Memorial (amongst other things).
But....somebody with terrible judgement DID deface the Philly memorial on Spruce Street on April 23rd with the spray painted image you see below, promoting that new Gorillaz album. Police are looking for the two suspects, who were caught on video.
There's no evidence that this is tied directly to the band - but obviously stuff like this just can't happen.
