Why didn't I think of that? Muggles rejoice! Yuengling's Ice Cream (Pennsylvania's Finest!) just announced they'll be releasing Butterbeer Ice Cream- a mix of butter cream and butterscotch ice cream, with a butterscotch swirl.
How did it come about? David Yuengling, president of Yuengling’s Ice Cream explains: “My kids were big Harry Potter fans and we wanted to do something unique.”
Yuengling's Ice Cream is made in Orwigsburg, about 2 hours northwest of Philly.
The Butterbeer flavor will be a regular flavor - not just some limited edition thing - and will be distributed throughout the U.S. The company website says it's "now available" - has anyone seen or tried it yet?
The ice cream is non-alcohlolic, btw, so all ages can enjoy it.
