Ardmore native Benj Pasek got TWO Oscar nominations this morning in the Best Original Song Category for his work on La La Land. Benj is a graduate of Philly's Friends' Central School.
La La Land ties the record for the most Academy Award nominations EVER at 14 total, and there are lots of Philly ties to the film. Philly.com has more.
The awards ceremony will be hosted by Jimmy Kimmel on February 26th on ABC.
