Music Box is a new documentary series that debuted on HBO with Woodstock 99: Peace, Love, and Rage over the weekend
If you tuned in, HBO shared a trailer during teasing the next batch of films highlighting pivotal artists and moments in music, including one that will definitely appeal to people who visit an ALT rock station website...
Along with docs on the lives of DMX and Kenny G, there will be a new documentary 'Jagged', directed by a filmmaker with Philly roots, Alison Klayman, and will focus on the groundbreaking 1995 album Jagged Little Pill by Alanis Morissette!
The film will give an intimate look into the making of the album and follow the sudden surge into the spotlight for Alanis after it's release.
I recently watched the Woodstock 99 one and while deeply disturbing, it was very well done, and should set a standard for some more quality documentaries to come from this Music Box series this Fall. (trailer below)
