After figuring out this whole music thing out, Dan Auerbach of The Black Keys will now be trying his hand at directing.
In a new film that follows his work during the making of Dr. John's 2012 album Lockdown, Auerbach will make his directorial debut highlighting the prominent New Orleans musician's mysterious life story.
Auerbach says Dr. John "was such a unique individual and a shining example of the great melting pot of American music" and wants to "introduce the world to him in a way they haven't seen before."
No word on a release date has been announced.
