Biffy Clyro has dropped their cover of Metallica's track 'Holier Than Thou, which apart of the Blacklist album of covers celebrating the influence Metallica has had on over 50 artists spanning across all genres.
It's a pretty cool concept, and something I noticed Paul McCartney recently did for his McCartney III Imagined project. We'll get to how artists can reimagine these songs no matter their particular style. There's going to be new takes from country (Chris Stapleton/Jason Isbell), to pop (J Balvin/Alessia Cara) right by the alternative sides of Biffy and Cage the Elephant.
The album is due out September 10th.
