Locked-down for most of 2020, The Killers had no other choice but to work on a new album.
According to front man Brandon Flowers told Vampire Weekend's Ezra Koenig on Apple Music that the follow up to Imploding the Mirage, is "pretty much done!" While there is no release date set, he added that they are in the final stages, ready for mixing so it should be coming very soon! Back in August Brandon said the new album will be ready in about 10 months, so let's get ready for some Summer Killers.
This news comes on the heels of Brandon Flowers suffering a shoulder injury while biking, causing their UK tour to be altered a little bit. Health comes first, so we wish Brandon a speedy recovery so The Killers can get back to what they love, releasing music and rocking out to large crowds as soon as safely possible!
