A true legend and trailblazer of the grunge era of rock music and beyond, Chris Cornell has been gone from us for over two years, sadly and there will probably never be another front man who could match his style.
It was a fitting tribute to his life, and music when the Cornell family estate released a project Chris was working on, with songs covering the likes of John Lennon, Janis Joplin and Harry Nilsson ---- titled No One Sings Like You Anymore back in December.
Well according to his wife Vicky, on The Rizzuto Show, "there is a volume two," adding that it isn't in completely finished form, but there's enough to work with, and the Cornell stamp is all over it."
One main difference will be that Part 1, was mastered and sequenced all by Chris himself, as it was one of, if not the last project he was working on before he passed.
No One Sings... is a superb listen, and you need to make it apart of your listening today if you have not already. I'm very excited to see what Part 2 will have in store. I'm sure it will be high end work no matter what. RIP Chris
