So I think I now know what i'm gonna be grubbing on for the birds on Sunday. It's locked in. I'll take a nice Fall afternoon stroll over to D'Oliva EVOO Pizza & Grill in my neighborhood of Northern Liberties and see what this partnership between them and Geno's Steaks is all about.
The collab will feature Geno's famous thinly sliced ribeye, sautéed onions, mozzarella and American cheeses, all toped with some whiz on either a pizza or stromboli. Also as an added bonus, portions of the proceeds of each Geno's pizza or stromboli sold will be donated to the great cause over at Philabundance , who are leading the fight against hunger here in the Philly community.
Pizza is good. Cheesesteaks are also good. A cheesesteak on a pizza...with whiz? Yeah, i'm all in.
My mouth is watering just looking at it. Can I make it to Sunday, or will I have to get it tonight? Idk, stay tuned.
