No, Barak Obama is not the award winning chef I am talking about, but he is in fact grabbing a cheeser from Pat's King of Steaks in that picture, the establishment getting a new head chef for a weekend
Michael Solomonov, award winning chef of one of the top restaurants in the nation, Zahav, will be taking over Pat's as part of a food take out series created by the reservation app Resy. The series features top chefs across the country taking over another establishment in their specific city for one weekend, and reinventing the classic food.
Solomonov will be running Pat's from Friday, October 16th - Sunday, October 18th where he will be serving up a cheesesteak remix package that you will need a ticket for ahead of time for $25. As a bonus, some diners may find a Resy Golden Check in their takeout bag. It's a $100 value for use at Solomonov's restaurants.
