Tailgating Will Be Prohibited at The Linc and Neighboring Parks

So we already knew fans were not going to be allowed in The Linc this season...but what about tailgating in the parking lot?

Unfortunately, but as expected given gathering restrictions, city officials made the decision yesterday to ban tailgating down at the South Philly sports complex, as well as neighboring park grounds (such as FDR Park). Employees and patrons of Xfinity Live must provide a ticket or identification to gain access to the area.

Furthermore, following streets will be closed from 6:00am - 5:00pm on Sundays.

• South 11th Street closed to traffic both ways (Pattison Ave. to Terminal Ave.)

• Pattison Ave. closed to traffic both ways (South Broad to South 7th Street)

• South 10th Street closed to traffic southbound (Packer Avenue and Hartranft Street a.k.a. "Phillies Way")

• South Darien Street closed to traffic southbound (Packer Ave. to Pattison Ave.)

So since they are strapping down, it looks like we will have to keep our boozin' and grillin' debauchery at our homes for the remainder of the season. #GoBirds
