spooky szn cometh - around 50 days until Halloween! Some people (like myself) have their Halloween costume planned 6 months in advance...#NoShame- others still need a little more time to figure it out. But take a look at this new data from Google Trends if you're trying to figure out your costume:

Google Trends search data and input from forecasting service Granularity are giving us a good idea what the most popular Halloween costumes will be.

Movies

·Beetlejuice - It’s been a staple since the original movie came out in 1988 and thanks to the new sequel, “Beetlejuice Beetlejuice,” we’ll be seeing more folks dressed up as the title character, as well as Lydia, Delia and Astrid.

·Ghostbusters - These costumes are sure to be popular again this year after the release of “Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire” in March.

·“Wicked” witches - The movie version of the musical “Wicked” doesn’t hit theaters until November, but there will still be a lot of Elphaba and Glinda costumes this Halloween.

·Deadpool and Wolverine - Superheroes are always popular costumes and the trend will be even bigger this year after Marvel’s hit “Deadpool & Wolverine” film.

·“Inside Out 2” - There will be lots of Joys, Sadnesses, Fears, Disgusts, Angers, Anxieties, Envys and some Rileys, dads and moms, thanks to the success of the Pixar sequel.

·“Terrifier” - Art the creepy killer clown will be back in “Terrifier 3,” which comes out in October, ensuring lots of people will be dressed up like him to frighten and scare.

·Wednesday/Addams Family - Everyone’s favorite kooky family has always been a costume go-to, and this year is no exception.

·Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders - The hit Netflix docuseries "America’s Sweethearts: Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders" will inspire a lot of blue and white cheerleader costumes this Halloween.

Real People and pop culture moments

·JoJo Siwa - But not just any JoJo, the “bad girl” one from her “Karma” music video.

·Raygun - Breakdancer Rachael “Raygun” Gunn became a pop culture sensation after her summer Olympics performance and Google Trends shows this is one of the top searched costume ideas so far.

·Taylor and Travis - There are tons of iconic Taylor Swift looks to choose from and dressing up as her man Travis Kelce is easy with a red and gold number 87 Kansas City Chiefs jersey.

·Presidential candidates - Since it’s an election year, there will be plenty of Trumps and Kamalas, as well as references to unmarried cat ladies, coconut trees, and mugshots.
