Måneskin is sharing their latest collab. The Italian rock’n’roll superstars guest on a new version of Dolly Parton’s classic 'Jolene,' released as part of a ‘Download Exclusive Version’ of her new album 'Rockstar.' Måneskin says that they were “really excited” to announce that they were going to be on the iconic 1973 single.
After Dolly Parton shared her new album Rockstar last week, she returned with 2 new bonus tracks: Her rendition of the Eddie Money’s “Two Tickets to Paradise,” plus a new version of her classic “Jolene” featuring Måneskin.
The Måneskin-assisted version of “Jolene” is available exclusively with the digital download version of Rockstar on Parton’s website, though the country icon did share a preview of the duet on Instagram. It sounds like the new recording stays fairly faithful to the original, with Måneskin’s Damiano David taking on co-lead vocals with Parton.
“Jolene” appears on the deluxe edition of Rockstar, which also features guest features from Sting, Steve Perry, Joan Jett, Mick Fleetwood, Pat Benatar, Brandi Carlile, and many, many more. See a preview clip from Dolly Parton's IG & the full audio below:
