The Revivalists Reveal 'Moment' That Made Them Feel 'Lucky To Be Musicians'

The Revivalists made the most of 2020, opting to continue playing live at drive-in concerts; however, it's still been a long time since they've felt the rush of playing to a packed house. On Thursday (January 21), the band's Michael Girardot recalled a week that was particularly memorable: the week of January 14, 2019.

"A cold and rainy week, a 4 am load-in for the Today show, followed by two amazing nights at the historic Beacon Theatre," he wrote on Instagram alongside a photo of the band playing at the Beacon. "Every note made on the century-old stage bears a bit more weight. The sounds of our musical inspirations traveled through the same floor. In this moment we felt lucky to be musicians."

See his post below.

The Revivalists are joining Sheryl Crow, Margo Price, Jason Isbell & The 400 Unit, NEEDTOBREATHE, St. Paul and the Broken Bones, Lake Street Dive, Grace Potter, Shovels & Rope, Vintage Trouble, The War and Treaty, Yacht Rock Revue, and Sammy Rae and the Friends for a socially distanced music festival called Moon Crush. The event bills itself as a "Safely Connected Music Vacation" and is set to go down in Miramar Beach, Florida, April 26-May 1. Get more info here.
