The UK's FIRST Socially-Distanced Concert

This is pretty cool...but what happens when it rains? And could this be something for the winter inside venues??

Last night, the UK hosted the first socially-distanced concert at Newcastle’s Virgin Money Unity Arena...which boasted 500 separate raised metal platforms for up to 5 people on each. Sam Fender played to a sold-out crowd and the whole crowd appeared to abide by all the rules and regulations. In total, there were 2500 attendees according to NME. Each metal platform was spaced two meters apart, and concert goers were able to watch and safely pre-order food and drinks using the venues specified system. They were also able to access toilet facilities via a similar one way aisle. Check out some videos below!
