"Other Music" Record Store Documentary Gets Digital Release Date

For all the record collectors, and rock-doc watchers, a new film is on the way that will be right up your alley!

Other Music ,directed and produced by Puloma Basu and Rob Hatch-Miller will tell the story of the beloved record store of the same name, which was a hub for independent music and culture in East Village section of New York City.

The documentary will be released on Tuesday, August 25th across streaming services including Amazon Prime, iTunes, Google Play and Vimeo.

Other Music was credited with bringing relatively unknown artists such as the Yeah Yeah Yeahs, The National and Vampire Weekend to the forefront for indie music lovers in the early 2000's. Plus there will be a ton of interviews from members of those bands who got their start from Other Music, including Ezra Koenig from Vampire Weekend and Matt Berninger from The National.

Seems like a very cool documentary to check out, diving deep on the inner workings of a record store, plus origin stories straight from the mouths of some great bands!
