New Bill Proposed to Assist Independent Venues

Small, independent venues are at risk of shutting down as the industry continues to struggle due to COVID-19's capacity restrictions and social distancing advisories. These facilities (second homes for many of us) have no revenue right now, but still plenty of costs to account for such as rent, utilities, covering insurance, etc.

Losing venues like these would change the makeup of American cities and the American music industry, to say the least. Amy Klobuchar and John Cornyn proposed the bill that would relieve independent venues across the country for six months - check out more here.
