A Philly restaurant is using a robot for contactless food pickup!

Welcome to the future of food service: Bleu Sushi in Washington Square West has put a fun twist on contactless food pickup - a robot! Their newest team member/employee is The Bleu Bot - a robot that serves up to go orders to customers through a pick up window at the Philly establishment.

Employees hand the bag of to-go food to the robot, which in turn gets the food to you, the customer, in a clever and fun way to solve the social-distancing challenge of food pickup.

The Bleu Bot also bows, dances & bangs on a small gong, and according to Eater Philadelphia, the restaurant's owner Hendra Young is working on other programming options, including giving The Bleu Bot a voice.
