This is some fun news for all of us still staying at home and unable to go to the bars - to-go cocktails may be coming to PA very soon! According to 6ABC, the Pennsylvania House passed a bill that would let struggling bars and restaurants sell them during the pandemic. The practice up to this point has never been legal in PA.
The Inquirer adds: "Takeout drink sales would be permitted only during the COVID-19 disaster emergency and during the mitigation period after the termination of the disaster emergency in which a licensee is operating at less than 60% capacity, the legislation says."
The bill moves onto a Senate for a vote.
