A conversation with EOB on his debut album Earth, out tomorrow - LISTEN

EOB (aka Ed O'Brien from Radiohead) is prepping to release his debut album. It's been a long time coming, 8ish years, give or take, but will be welcomed into the world tomorrow, Friday, April 17th. The album is called 'Earth.'

We discussed the song "Brasil" which he says represents the overall vibe of the record in a nutshell, talked about the resurgence of cassettes (the album will be released on that throwback format as well as vinyl and digitally, of course), mixtapes, the idea of releasing the album during the COVID-19 crisis, and Ed's own experience with becoming sick with the virus and coming through on the other side (now fully healthy again, thankfully). Plus, he shared with me that he's already working on album #2, and that definitively it won't take 8 years to get us the followup!

Take a listen to our conversation, in full, below.
