Coachella is being pushed back to October over Coronavirus concerns!

Bummer.

Last week it was confirmed that South By Southwest music festival was cancelled due to concerns over the Coronavirus, and now another big music festival has also changed it's plans.

Coachella music festival, originally planned to kick off the weekend of April 10th, has now been pushed to the fall. Rather than completely cancel, they're planning to change the dates to the weekends of October 9th and 16th. This comes after a bunch of fans signed petitions as well as a patient being considered “a presumptive positive for coronavirus” at Eisenhower Medical Center in Rancho Mirage, California. Now the report has been confirmed by booking agents for the acts scheduled to play.

The reports say that once all the acts are informed, an official announcement will be made.

No word yet on if ALL the acts will stay on board or if it will eventually end up cancelled too. We will see!
