This year will a very eventful year for The Foo Fighters! The band will not only bring us new music, they're also looking back for their 25th anniversary!
Not only did the band just announce a 25th anniversary van tour, they've now went back into the archives to share a photo from their very first gig as a band in 1995.
The band shared the photo with the caption: “There is a moment in every band’s history when you decide it’s time to load the gear out of the practice space and bring the music to the people for the first time,” the caption read. “This was ours, 25 years ago today. Keg party at the Marine Store, Seattle Wa….”
There was then a follow-up post with the same photo and this caption from (probably?) a young Dave Grohl: “25 years later, the fear and stage fright may have faded, but the love of making music with my friends is stronger than ever. Happy anniversary, fellas.”
