From the moment I took up running, I heard rave reviews about Philly's Broad Street Run 10 mile race. The course: flat and fast and takes you through so many great parts of the city. The cheering: so many people with so many great signs of encouragement and costumes and bands playing...
I ran my first Broad Street last year in 2019 and absolutely LOVED it (despite the persistent rain all throughout the race) and I'm definitely planning on running again this year.
Broad Street 2020 is set for Sunday, May 3rd @ 7:30am.
It's the biggest & most popular 10 mile race in the entire country, so unfortunately it's not quite as easy as a straight sign up and you're definitely in situation...there's a lottery for bibs, and the lottery sign-up is now officially open - you have until the end of the day on Valentines Day, February 14th, 2020 @ 11:59pm to sign up for a chance to run.
Lottery results will be available on February 18.
