Voting has closed for the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame ballot with Dave Matthews Band earning the top spot as the only artist to get over one-million votes (1,005,657). The top 5 also includes Pat Benatar (882207), Doobie Brothers (784729), Soundgarden (722931) and Judas Priest (675434). Wait! Where's Depeche Mode and Nine Inch Nails? According to the fans, they'll need to wait a bit longer as Depeche finished 7th and Nine inch Nails finished 11th.
Winning the fan vote is not a guarantee for induction, though probably a good indicator. The 2020 class of inductees will officially be announced on Wednesday and then inducted on May 2nd.
