Winter Weather Advisory for portions of Radio 104.5 listening area

Just in time for post-Thanksgiving travel in and out of Philly, the National Weather Service has issued a Winter Weather Advisory in effect for Philadelphia, Delaware, Chester, Montgomery, Berks, Lehigh, Northampton Counties through Monday evening with some portions of the region receiving ice and accumulating snow.

Generally, we're looking at rain throughout the day (heavy at times), with areas north and west of Philly getting sleet and freezing rain.

Tomorrow, as most of us return to work, the northern/western portion of the region (Lehigh Valley/Berks/upper Bucks, upper Montgormery) are looking at 1-3 inches of snow, with 3-6 inches in the Poconos. Around the city, we'll also likely get a coating. Official word from the National Weather Service below
