Philly's Little Baby's Ice Cream Going Out Of Business

Our city of Philadelphia is FULL of great food, right? And when it comes to ice cream, there's always been something incredibly special about Little Baby's Ice Cream! If you've ever had a taste of their very unique flavors, whether it be at a concert or at one of their stores, you know it's a big deal!

Well sadly the business has announced they're going out of business, so you might want to grab a scoop while you still can!

The company just announced on Facebook that they will be closing all their locations by the end of November, which includes 3 Philly spots.

The owners posted this: "Our vision has always been to use Ice Cream as a platform to bring people together, make them happy and encourage them to have a new and different experience. The thought was, if we can get people behind responsibly produced super-premium Ice Cream with stuff like hot sauce in it, that may be a tiny step towards a more peaceful and understanding world. We believe that we succeeded in this effort and have been humbled by the extent to which that vision resonated. We have always intended to use Ice Cream to deliver that special feeling of being at once both confused and grateful, which is more or less how we're feeling now. So perhaps it worked?"

"The era of Little Baby's Ice Cream has come and gone," the company wrote. "While our physical manifestation will be no more for this world, our spirit will live on in the hearts, minds and mouth-memories of YOU, the True and Impassioned Ice Cream Fans."

While the stores are said to close November 27th, they technically say they'll stay open until they run out of ice cream, so go get yourself some crazy flavors while supplies last. They're running some specials while they stay open too! RIP Little Baby's!
