Good guy alert! Philadelphia Eagles tight end Zach Ertz gifted Chester's football team, The Panthers, with a ton of much-needed equipment last night, valued at over $30,000.
According to 3 CBS Philly the team has to turn away around 40 kids each year from the program because of a lack of funding and equipment.
About the donation Ertz said: “I was very fortunate, where I grew up I had a ton of access to a lot of really good equipment, and I also realize a lot of people aren’t able to have that opportunity. So, to be able to be a bridge for this community and to be out here with the kids is very special to me”
Zach noted he plans to donate more equipment to other leagues around the region.
