WATCH OUT!!
While our city of Philadelphia is full of a lot of great things to see and do, it isn't recommended that you see or do any of those things while in a car! Yup, a new report shows that Philly is one of the very worst cities to drive in!
Yup, Wallethub just released their 2019 report of the 100 BEST cities to drive in, and Philly was right at the bottom among the 3 WORST ranking at number 98!
How do they determine these things? They say it has to do with "cost of ownership and maintenance of vehicles, traffic and infrastructure, safety, and access to vehicles and maintenance." We did not do well in any of those categories.
The only two cities that beat Philly were Oakland, California and Detroit, Michigan.
They also noted that we have "the highest accident rates compared to the national average and is in the top five highest parking rates of all 100 cities."
I definitely thought we, at least, would have beat New York City!
