Philly's Zahav honored as best restaurant in the US!

Huge congrats to Philly restaurant, Zahav, which took home top honors at the James Beard Awards, which some call the 'Oscars of the culinary world'! This comes 2 year's after Zahav's co-owner and chef Michael Solomonov was honored as outstanding chef in the same awards. You can watch 'em accept the prestigious honor below.

If you haven't eaten at Zahav yet, it's located in Society Hill at 237 St. James Place and the owner, Solomonov, also owns several other Philly restaurants, including: Goldie, Dizengoff, Abe Fisher, The Rooster and Federal Donuts.

Have you eaten at Zahav? Do you think it's worthy of the honor? I've eaten there and will say the food is amazing (though, it wouldn't make my personal list of 5 Philly faves)

What are your favorite Philly restaurants?
