Have any plans yet for 2026? You do now! We're waiting on official confirmation and it looks like that will come at a press conference scheduled for next Tuesday, but it appears to be a done deal:
according to a report by the AP, Philadelphia will play host to the 2026 MLB All-Star Game at Citizens Bank Park.
The timing lines up with the 250th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence.
Tuesday afternoon's press conference (2p) is set to include commissioner Rob Manfred, Phillies owner John Middleton, Pennsylvania Gov. Tom Wolf and Philadelphia Mayor Jim Kenney. The Phillies put out the official invite, tweeting:
"We have a major announcement to make on Tuesday, April 16 at 2 p.m. Join us and many special guests, including current and former Phillies players, on Market Street between 5th and 6th Streets"
