None other than Philadelphia Flyers mascot Gritty!
I mean, the mascot has been everywhere since his debut, and while we didn't know what to think the city embraced him pretty quickly. He has since been everywhere including late night talk shows! So is his next move to take the Oscars stage?
While he doesn't talk (so it'd certainly be an interesting opening monologue), we know he wouldn't be controversial and definitely would be very entertaining!
I have a feeling they'll go with some other comedian or actor BUT imagine what this would be like!
